We will be demonstrating the Cantor's Reflection, Guess Your Number, Magic Square, Towers of Hanoi, and digital color matching. We will be giving away copies of guess your number.

Beginning of Addition and Multiplication Tutorials. Learn your computational facts by pattern recognition and logic.

Poughkeepsie Rotary Luncheon

Will present standard exhibits such as Magic Square, Balance, and number guessing. Then we will discuss the philosophy of the museum and how it is contributing and will contribute to the community.

Full presentation of Exploration Center capabilities including Magic Suare, Number Guessing, Mechanical advantage, Computation tricks, geometry, and calculus.

Math and Technology Expo

The Exploration will be moving the contents of one of its kiosks to the Arlington High school, where it will show participants and visitors to the Expo some of the presentations and activities that they can enjoy when they visit the Exploration. The purpose of our being their will to encourage those at the Expo to continue their interest in Math and Physics and perhaps to make one of their presentations available to the community through the Exploration.

Exploration visits Todd Hill Middle School

The Exploration will be demonstarting its Magic Square exhibit and will be working with the students to show the patterns to make it easier to remember and understand number facts.

Every wonder why you and your children did not appreciate or understand math? Learn what makes math work and how to solve puzzles and real life financial problems. You can help your grandchildren in school and give advice to your financial advisor.

toy using binary numbers, and understanding similar triangles. Even though the presentation will be designed for elementary school children (grades 2 to 5) it could touch upon advanced math
topics for middle and high schoool students.

We will have exhibits that will allow you to see how computational math is applied to measuring devices and mechanical advantage. Have fun and learn to learn and understand.

As a teacher you will have alternative approaches to considering to making teaching more rewardable and more fun. As a parent, you will be able to better halp and understand your child. As a student, you will learn how to make math work for you.
